Alliance Pet Peeves

Here's a thread for venting about Alliance pet peeves:

1. An alliance partner starts flights in your hub using widebody aircraft on a route that you are operating with A-319s, 737s, etc..., just killing your profits. If it is a longhaul route and you have to use a widebody, that is fine, but why do you put a 777 roundtrip on a high traveled route, when your alliance partners aren't operating anything bigger than an A-319 or A-320?

2. You have an existing, well established hub and an alliance partner decides they also want to hub in that same city? It's not like there aren't plenty of 30m+ cities in America, Europe, and Asia.

Okay, I feel a little better now. Feel free to vent.
